Fred Thompson Withdraws

Fred Thompson has withdrawn from the presidential race. This is a sad day for me and a sad day for America. None of the other candidates excite me in the Republican primary. Shall I even bother to hold my nose and vote in a primary? Of course, regardless of the nominee, I would much prefer the weakest Republican candidate to any of the Socialist Democrat candidates.
